Los Angeles, CA (Oct. 10, 2007) — Speaking on the Larry King show, former Mexican President Vicente Fox confirmed every assertion made by Jerome Corsi in his new book, NY Times bestseller “The Late Great U.S.A: The Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada” (WND Books, ISBNs 0-9790451-4-2, $25.95, July 2007). Not only did Fox admit that he and George W. Bush have “agreed” to create a common currency, the Amero, he contended that a North American Union is “inevitable” That’s something that Jerry Corsi takes issue with while applauding Fox’s openness on national television.

“At last we have public confirmation of the pernicious secret activity that’s been going on towards merging Mexico, Canada and the United States” declares Corsi, whose book became a bestseller shortly after publication. “Personally, I’d like to thank Vincente Fox. His candor about this merger is what’s going to stop it dead in its tracks”

Corsi continues, “Fox’s appearance with Larry King and, of all places, on The Daily Show constitutes the first time a leader of Mexico, Canada or the U.S. has openly confirmed a plan to create a regional currency called the Amero — a plan I document in detail in ’The Late Great U.S.A.’” Fox went on to explain how current regional trade agreements between the United States and its hopelessly corrupt neighbor to the south are intended to evolve into other previously hidden aspects of North American integration.

Larry King, near the end of the broadcast, asked Fox a

Global Inflation: The Next Major Obstacle

One thing we find truly amazing about the markets is that they’re much more than just investments. Markets provide a way of peeking into the future, if you understand what they’re trying to tell you.

These lessons are ongoing but it’s fascinating and like a giant puzzle.

MARKETS TELL THE STORY

Sometimes the messages are pretty subtle. But other times they’re major, signaling massive economic, political or geopolitical shifts.

Most interesting is that the markets lead. So it’s important to recognize that whatever a market is telling you, it’s not going to be obvious when that market gives the signal. The message will become obvious later.

Let’s take gold as an example. It started moving up in a major bull market in 2001, and it’s been rising strongly and consistently ever since. Gold always leads inflation, so it was telling us that inflation was eventually going to head higher. That didn’t happen for quite a while, but now it’s another story. Plus, gold’s been telling us much more…

INFLATION ON THE AGENDA

We’ve been writing about inflation for a long time and why we thought it was coming back in a big way. As the years passed,

“The economy is in an inflationary recession denied by most central banks and in our market manipulation capitals of Washington and New York. Traders and investors need to pay attention to actual stats not those with a mainstream, Keynesian agenda. We find their goofy defense stunningly remarkable and replete with nonsense. Jawboning (shoveling you know what) has become the greatest indoor, totally imperfect sport for Chopper Ben Brenanke and Hank Paulson. We are not calling them liars but perhaps they are fibbing slightly more than usual around the edges. Benny hides it as he appears half asleep most of the time. Paulson on the other hand cannot hide his appearance of naked fear and desperation. On one occasion, we thought he would have a heart attack.” - Traderrog

Keeping Score On Nonsense Is A Full Time Job

  • We should have been building a file on market reporting nonsense over the past few five years but it would have been a full time job and we don’t have the time. Instead of a librarians list, we summarize today some critical reasons as to why traders and investors should not give-up on gold and silver. We simply lost control while producing this list and wrote 20 instead of 10. This list took only 15 minutes and we do have time and space constraints.
  • We had a credit crunch caused by derivatives but now it’s structurally contained and mostly over. Greenspan’s give-away cash in the US spread to other nations through origination of derivatives. The contagion has only begun to spread and the 10% pittance of acknowledged bad paper allegedly managed at the banks leaves 90% lurking, hidden in banks’ balance sheets.
  • The American banking system is sound as a dollar. Bear Stearns was

Inflation Fears & Food Shortages by James Turk

There have been numerous media reports about food shortages around the globe and the resulting riots caused by empty store shelves. Usually missing from these reports though is the reason for the shortages.

The problem is not agricultural, but rather monetary. In other words, the problem is not too few food staples, but too much money – or too much fiat paper currency to be precise.

In contrast to the classical gold standard, there is today no discipline on the creation of money, with the consequence that it is being created to excess. Rising prices of all goods and services are the inevitable result, and what’s worse, surging inflation has become a global scourge. All currencies are being inflated. Only the rate of debasement is different.

In an inflationary environment, it is basic common sense that soaring prices will empty store shelves. This outcome is also the experience of countless inflationary episodes throughout history. People dump the depreciating currency in favor of tangible, useful assets, and basic staples are high on the list of things to acquire.

The following table of commodity prices is from the April 24th 2008 print edition of The Economist magazine. Note the monthly and yearly increases for food.

The 69.0% increase in food prices over the past year makes a mockery of government reported price indices. Their bogus reports obviously understate the true rate of monetary debasement. Don’t let this happen to you: Call The Superior Gold Group today at 888-969-6465 and protect yourself today with precious metals.

There is of course another problem causing food shortages, and no, it is not the speculators being so roundly blamed by the media. Government – or governments to be more precise – is again the cause. Many of them are acting in ways that cause food shortages.

FEMA CONCENTRATION CAMPS: Locations and Executive Orders
There over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and
ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by
full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by
FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be
implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential
signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a
warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really
want to be on Ashcroft’s list.
The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a “mass
exodus” of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be
quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. Rex 84
allowed many military bases to be closed down and to be turned into
prisons.
Operation Cable Splicer and Garden Plot are the two sub programs which will
be implemented once the Rex 84 program is initiated for its proper purpose.
Garden Plot is the program to control the population. Cable Splicer is the
program for an orderly takeover of the state and local governments by the
federal government. FEMA is the executive arm of the coming police state
and thus will head up all operations. The Presidential Executive Orders
already listed on the Federal Register also are part of the legal framework
for this operation.
The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from
the detention facilities. Many also have an airport nearby. The majority of
the camps can house a population of 20,000 prisoners. Currently, the
largest of these facilities is just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The
Alaskan facility is a massive mental health facility and can hold
approximately 2 million people.

Ramos and Compean News Update

samuel maxwell
January 18, 2008

After a hearing in New Orleans, an appeals court judge says federal prosecutors may have overreacted in their case against former border agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. The two men are serving lengthy prison sentences for shooting a fleeing drug suspect.

Judge E. Grady Jolly is one of three judges in the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals hearing the appeals. He questioned whether the two agents would have been charged if they had reported the shooting. “For some reason, this one got out of hand, it seems to me,” Jolly said of the agents’ prosecution. He said it seems “that the government overreacted” in the prosecution that led to a 12-year prison term for Compean and an 11-year term for Ramos.

The agents’ attorneys are asking the 5th Circuit to throw out their convictions. A federal jury in El Paso convicted the Border Patrol agents of assault, obstruction of justice and civil rights violations in the wounding of Osvaldo Aldrete Davila near El Paso in 2005. Aldrete survived the shooting, but was arrested in November after an October indictment on various drug charges.

There’s no indication when the judges will rule in the appeals. Compean attorney Bob Baskett says he’s encouraged by Jolly’s comments, but Ramos attorney David Botsford says he’s not reading anything into the remarks.
